Quick description: Hyperlinked digital notebooks for use in any notetaking app on the iPhone or other device that accommodates hyperlinked pdf’s. There are actually 54 different notebooks included, 9 colors, each in 6 different paper styles. The set also includes an array of binders to enable you to link 3 to 12 notebooks together and move easily from notebook to notebook. It is not really meant for printing, but you could print pages from the pdf’s if you desire.

Included files for each set –

- 54 PDF notebook files, 9 colors, each in six paper styles - plain, bullet, lined, graph, half-page lined and a lined/graph column mix.
- 12 PDF binders to link multiple notebooks together in a hyperlinked format - six cover choices for a 6-section binder, three cover choices for a 12-section yearly binder, one 3-section, one 4-section and one 5-section
- 42 stickers in .png format
- 40 floral overlays in .png format

The download files are in a zip format. You must save them to your computer and extract or “unzip” the files before you can use them. If downloading to an apple device, save to the Apple Files app and tap the zip file to unzip. It will place the extracted files in a folder with the same name as the zip file and you can then use the Send To icon to open in your desired app.

When I got my new iPhone, I was so excited to start using my notebook app Noteshelf 2 on it, which I was already using on my iPad. However, I quickly realized any organizers or notepads set up for the iPad are impossible to use on an iPhone. So I decided to create some specific to the iphone. I don’t know about you, but I can never have enough notebooks! This set will cover pretty much any need you have. You can use just a single notebook for a specific purpose or utilize the binder system which links multiple notebooks together so that with a couple of taps you can move anywhere within. Use for class notes, work notes, a planner, a scrapbook, a household organizer, shopping lists, favorite recipes, things to keep track of... anything you’d like!

This size also works on the iPad. I find sometimes I just like the smaller format (sort of like paper notebooks, that little pocket-sized one is always nice to have in addition to your full-sized ones. And there are so many times when you want to keep track of things but don’t need or want a full-sized page). It actually works wonderfully well for working in two different notebooks at once, using the iPad split screen feature. I find there are many times when I have a notebook I’m working on some project in and want to jot down things as I’m doing so, but don’t want to do it in the current notebook. I used to keep a paper notebook handy, but now I just open up an iPhone-sized one and work side by side!

Each notebook consists of a cover (which can be deleted if you link them together using a binder), an index and 31 pages. You can move back to the index with one tap from any of the pages and go to another. If you use the binder, from any notebook within it, you can tap to go to its index and then swipe once to be able to move between different notebooks.

There’s also some stickers included to decorate with or to easily set up a notebook for planner purposes. And there are 25 overlays to add a little decorating touch to pages. All in all, this is a really handy set that will give you a ton of mileage to customize and create your own combos! The last viewing sheet is to show you just how versatile it is. I used it to create my Christmas journal this year and simply cropped some Christmas backgrounds to the same proportions as the cover and section dividers and inserted them to totally change up the look! In ten minutes, I had a hyperlinked Christmas journal all ready to go! I used it on my iPad and didn’t have the pressure of filling those large pages, so this one I actually finished! :)

All files are 300 dpi, (2500 x 3300 pixels for 8.5 x 11's and 3600 x 3600 pixels for 12 x 12's). They can be printed as many times as you desire on the paper type of your choice.

Many of the items are in a .zip format for download. This allows multiple files to be packaged together so they don't have to be downloaded one at a time. Once the .zip file is downloaded and saved to your computer, it must be "unzipped" to access the individual files therein. Most computers today come installed with the software to accommodate this and double-clicking on the zip file will start the "unzip" or extraction process.

If your computer does not have such software, you can download by searching zip/unzip software on the Internet.

When multiple formats are enumerated in the listing, you can choose to download the format you desire. Jpg files will download much faster and if you're just going to print these or they're being used as a full-sized background, that's likely the format you want. .Png files are much larger in size and so take longer to download, but if you are going to be utilizing these in photo editing software, this is the format you want. In .png files, there is a transparent background around the image, so you can layer it over any background you wish in your photo editing software, most of which will open and work with .png files. The .pdf files are read only and cannot be edited unless the item description specifically states otherwise.

The paper you print on does make a big difference in the quality of your print. A low quality, low brightness copy paper will generally give you a poor print if you're printing colored images.
The best is a double-sided photo-quality matte finish paper of at least 58 lb. weight. It works much better than general scrapbooking cardstock in terms of the color and sharpness of the images. Staples carries a house brand called Double-Sided Matte Photo Supreme that is very good.
However, when you need a lighter weight paper for decoupage, for instance, look for something that is specified as at least 90 brightness or super-bright white, 98 or 100. Presentation paper will generally give you a better quality than photocopy paper.
